Vice President, Risk Management and Health Care Quality The candidate will serve as the organization's facility-wide Risk Manager charged with reducing preventable injuries and accidents and to minimize the financial severity of all claims. Will identify litigation-prone areas and implementation of preventive or corrective actions throughout firm. Oversee reporting, coordination, follow through, and the documentation to external regulatory agencies in Florida when incidents occur. Direct the organization’s Health Care Quality initiatives and will supervise the Director of Health Care Quality. Develop standard measurement tools, data, metrics, benchmarks, and systematic assessments of the quality of care in firm's various settings. Apply a mix of strategies that will most successfully balance differing views and goals using analytical systems such as Point Right and Abaqus. Direct the firm Infection Prevention department. Proficiency in using analytical systems such as Point Right and Abaqus is needed. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or Bachelors of Nursing is needed. Master’s Degree is preferred. JD degree is highly preferred. Licensed Health Care Risk Manager (LHRM) in Florida is needed. Current RN license by the Florida State Board of Nursing is essential. Current American Heart Association BLS Certification is needed. Should have 10+ years of extensive direct experience in the Long-Term Care setting, preferably in the state of Florida. Proven Risk Management and Health Care Quality experience is needed. Director of Nursing experience is preferred. Multi-facility experience at the corporate level is needed.
