Staff Attorney The candidate will collaborate with internal business clients and respond promptly to legal requests from business clients, summarize and communicate legal and business concepts, manage and negotiate contracts from start to finish. Identify, communicate and escalate, when appropriate, any contract issues or deviations from company guidelines. Review, revise and manage contract templates. Help support contract management system implementation, business training, and be the legal primary point of contact for all contract management activities. Advise business clients on the legal issues and risk, complex agreement structures, approval process, company policies and procedures. Work directly with the business team to draft, red-line, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, NDAs, and Statements of Work. Support other legal and business initiatives as required. Must have California Bar membership. Should have 1-2 years of prior commercial law experience. Ability to interpret legal documents, negotiate contracts and complete agreements is required. Prior in-house experience and experience negotiating technology contracts and working with a contracts management system is preferred. Healthcare and/or Medical Device exposure is a plus.
