Immigration Support and Compensation Analyst/ Global Mobility Specialist (Contractor) The candidate will report directly to the Manager of Global Mobility and is responsible for support and coordination of various employment-based visa processes and international work permits for Sealed Air. Will advise and respond to inquiries from our Global Mobility department, Leadership Teams, HR, and External Legal Partners. Support the Global Mobility department by providing support on projects and analysis related to expatriate compensation balance sheets, global compensation accumulation, foreign tax payments, tax equalization settlement tracking, payroll delivery collaboration, and shadow payroll reporting. Day-to-day administration of global immigration matters. Ensure legal compliance with all phases of the immigration process. Address/resolve potential issues/problems with the visa and/or US Permanent Residency process. Partners with managers and HR to create effective job descriptions for the US Permanent Residency process; reviews applicants and assists with the final determination. Conducts transferee and new hire meetings to review immigration statuses. Supports outside council by providing company required documentation on all non-immigrant and immigrant petitions. Communicate with employees regarding all stages of their non-immigrant and immigrant status (including documentation, case strategy, case progression). Coordinate, initiate and manage immigration cases with our outside legal service providers to ensure compliance, optimal process timeline and maximum efficiency. Respond to US DOL and USCIS audits and manage US site visits. Responsible for occasional A/P processing, reporting, and analytics related to expatriate expenses. Serve as analysis point on global compensation and tax projects within Global Mobility. Maximizing technology solutions and internal mobility compensation reporting, as it relates to foreign transfers and expatriates. Proactively offer suggestions for improvement of processes and efficiencies. Other duties and projects as assigned. Paralegal degree/certificate or equivalent legal experience is essential. 5+ years’ experience handling corporate immigration matters within a multinational company, or legal supplier is essential. Relevant payroll, accounting, or tax experience is essential. Excellent communications and interpersonal skill is required. Must have experience with immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions, including Green Card process, H-1B, E-3, TN, and L-1s. Immigration knowledge covering temporary visas, permanent residency processes is essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral is essential. Strong Excel (VLookup and Pivot Tables), and overall computer skill is essential.
