Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant The candidate will provide support for family law attorneys. Will be corresponding with clients and potential clients to schedule appointments and obtain documents; Maintain attorneys' calendars. Obtain, review, organize preliminary documentation and information received from clients and opposing counsel. Prepare, draft and file legal documents with appropriate entities and necessary correspondence. Prepare discovery to opposing party and discovery responses for clients. Monthly Billing, banking transactions, payables and receivables. Perform general firm administrative duties as needed. Should have 3+ years of experience and have working knowledge of court rules, forms, processes, and procedures. Must have experience answering discovery and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office, TABS (Time Accounting Billing System) and Worldox software knowledge is a plus.
