Legal Administrative Assistant / Paralegal The candidate provides basic administrative support to the firm's attorneys as well as managing the day to day operations of the firm, including accounts payable, processing legal documents, opening and closing files, and general office management. Answer and direct incoming calls (note most callers ring our direct lines so the number of phone calls to be answered is minimal). Perform administrative and customer service functions such as greeting clients, making copies and filing. Process legal documents Assist with scheduling important dates or meetings Open and close files Order office supplies. Create contract exhibits using graphic design software. Handle accounts payable, including paying bills and entering into Quickbooks. Assist with other essential functions of the firm and its practice areas, as assigned. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Should have previous law office experience. Must have proficiency in Word, Excel, Quickbooks and Photoshop.
