Legal Assistant Candidate will assist in the administration of the law office by receiving clients and visitors, managing attorney's calendars, arranging travel, editing legal documents and correspondence, answering the telephone, and assisting with all other administrative tasks in tax and business law firm. Duties will include: Greet clients and visitors, serving as the face of the firm; Answer incoming calls and direct client questions to the appropriate attorneys; Proactively handle the attorney's calendars; Handle confidential client information discreetly and professionally; Support accounting functions by editing and tracking billing invoices; Coordinate attorney and client conference calls and meetings; Coordinate complex travel itineraries; Revise correspondence and client documents as requested. Maintain supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, and, placing and expediting orders for supplies; Assist with creating presentations; Assist in managing vendor relationships; and Complete ad hoc administrative requests in a timely and thorough manner.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Bachelor's degree required; High-level of professionalism and a positive customer service attitude; Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team, and assume additional responsibilities as required; Ability to maintain strict confidentiality standards and appropriate sensitivity to all issues; Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and quickly adjust to changing priorities; Ability to maintain focus along with a sense of urgency; Exceptionally detail-oriented and well organized; and Strong oral and written communication skills and exceptional computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
