Legal Assistant The candidate should have some litigation or personal injury experience. Duties include: managing electronic client files; discovery production and management; document scanning and management; gathering and and entry of medical records and billings; preparing correspondence and legal documents as necessary; helping attorney prepare for Mediation and/or Trial; communicating with clients, law offices and courts throughout Oregon; and managing attorney's calendar. Must be competent with computer systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Pro); familiar with local and state court rules and electronic filing; able to proofread documents and other materials with attention to detail; and able to communicate effectively clients, attorneys and coworkers.
