Corporate Paralegal The candidate will work at the intersection of manufacturing logistics and emerging technology initiatives that require creative and pragmatic legal solutions. Will work closely with Corporate Counsel and have the ability to make an impact and substantively contribute to legal processes. Designing, developing, overhauling and simplifying legal processes and procedures for our growing legal team. Maintaining corporate entity files and databases. Owning regulatory compliance initiatives and projects, including monitoring compliance with applicable laws, annual reports and business licenses across the country and compliance filings. Drafting/coordinating execution of all Board transaction documents/resolutions. Managing various internal systems and legal dept processes such as billing and filing. Supporting the legal team in drafting and redlining form contracts, including NDAs. Creating and improving workflow processes cross-functionally. Preparing legal notices, formal letters, and other legal communications. Conducting research, and collecting, analyzing, and organizing data and documents in support of legal functions such as real estate/lease document manangement, litigation discovery and due diligence projects. Handling routine copyright and trademark filings with outside counsel. Excited about emerging technology and energized by how it can leveraged in our department's mission of effective process improvement. Must have Bachelor's degree and a paralegal certificate. Should have experience as a paralegal or legal project manager, preferably at an in-house legal department. Must have strong proficiency with MS Office suite and Adobe Professional, CT Corp Online, Westlaw/Practical Law Research Tools experience preferred. Knowledge of the Thomson Legal Tracker (formerly Serengeti) eBilling system is a plus.
