Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for drafting legal documents, maintaining organized case files and facilitating communication between clients, attorneys and other stakeholders. Conducting phone- and in-person-intakes with new clients. Efficiently and empathetically managing client communication including serving as client liaison on all assigned cases. Consistently maintaining organized electronic and physical case files. Managing attorney calendar. Time management of files including ensuring all applicable deadlines are met. Analyzing and organizing medical records and bills. Creating damages charts including medical bills and lost wages. Drafting demands. Addressing subrogation and liens, including confirming bill balances and requesting discounts. Assisting attorneys with litigation process including answering written discovery, drafting pleadings and trial preparation. Facilitating expert witnesses including medical expert proof. Scheduling IMEs/depositions. Must have Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Should have 3+ years of experience in plaintiff personal injury law office. General computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required. Spanish-speaking a plus.
