The ideal candidate must be comfortable acting in a broad outside general counsel capacity for emerging, high growth (mostly venture-backable) companies across a range of practice areas, including technology transactions, employment and contract negotiation. Experience with investor and company-side venture financing transactions and a desire to build a book of business is preferred. Experience in the areas of corporate formation, licensing, and venture financing required. Admission to the Michigan Bar is required.
