Legal Department Associate The candidate will assisting with the preparation of quarterly Board of Directors meetings; preparing minutes/synopses of Board dispositions, and other public meetings. Will be drafting notices to tenants/concessionaires/permittees. Creating/updating databases to comply with various state mandates. Conducting legal research, preparing memoranda and reporting research findings, under the supervision of legal department staff. Assisting with other tasks as assigned. Should preferably have a Bachelorâ€™s degree or paralegal experience. A JD degree is welcomed. Should have 2+ years of working in an office environment. Should have 1+ year experience with FOIL requests and/or document production. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential. Experience conducting research (Lexis/Westlaw); strong analytical skills are needed. Strong organizational skills are needed.
