Job Overview:
A reputable law firm in Scottsdale is currently seeking a skilled Family Law Attorney with at least three years of Arizona-specific family law experience. Duties:
- Represent clients in various family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and other related issues.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
- Advocate for clients in both mediation and courtroom settings, focusing on settlement negotiations and litigation.
- Work closely with legal assistants and staff to ensure all aspects of family law cases are managed effectively and efficiently.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in family law, with a strong understanding of Arizona family law statutes and procedures.
- Active license to practice law in Arizona.
- Proven ability to manage a caseload and communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
- Experience in high-asset divorce cases is preferred.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Active Arizona Bar membership is required.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and settlement skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
