Irvine office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a land use partner ideally with extensive experience in land use, planning, and entitlement services provided to clients throughout San Diego and Orange County. The candidate will chair the land use practice for the entire firm. Become an integral part of the cross-disciplinary group and principally assist clients with all phases of the land use/development process, including pre-acquisition due diligence and strategy, entitlements, state and federal environmental compliance (California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Coastal Act and National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) and administrative appeals for all types of development projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use projects. Experience managing multiple attorneys and non-attorney staff is required. Experience with renewable energy projects is also preferred. Should ideally have substantial connections and extensive experience working with the California Coastal Commission, San Diego and/or Orange Counties, the City of San Diego, and municipalities throughout Orange County.
