Duties:

  • Assist clients with estate planning, including drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
  • Provide legal advice on estate and trust administration, including probate and trust administration matters.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare detailed memoranda and reports on trusts and estate issues.
  • Represent clients in probate court and during estate and trust disputes.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective estate planning strategies.
  • Prepare and review legal documents related to estate planning and administration.
  • Stay informed about changes in trusts and estates law and relevant legal developments.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar (California preferred).
  • Experience or strong interest in trusts and estates law.
  • Knowledge of estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Effective communication and client service abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California State Bar (preferred).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in drafting estate planning documents, including wills and trusts.
