Profile

Legal Assistant/Paralegal The candidate will join insurance defense firm. Should preferably have 2-4 years of Georgia litigation experience, preferably on the defense side, including experience in drafting correspondence, filing, scheduling, drafting and responding to written discovery requests, requesting medical records, summarizing medical records, preparing hearing exhibits, and general knowledge of practices and procedures of the State of Georgia. Should also exhibit workplace professionalism, teamwork, and have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure. Critical to success is attention to detail, follow-through, accuracy, communication and organization. Excellent grammar and proof-reading skills required. Must have typing speed of 70+ wpm. Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft WORD, Adobe XI. Must be familiar with document management and billing software programs. Experience with Client Profiles/Aderant Total Office and Juris is a plus.
