Administrative Law Judge The candidate conducts adversarial, evidentiary hearings concerning unemployment insurance benefits and related programs, and renders binding decisions on the appealed issues. Requires a consistent and functioning presence at work to manage a required caseload. Requires daily decision making, which may require a rapid response turnaround, requires dealing with large groups of people and dealing with large volumes of work involving a variety of program areas and specific deadlines. Should have year of experience "in a field to which the law to be adjudicated applies" listed in the minimum qualification must be in Unemployment Insurance. A JD degree will substitute for the 1 year of required experience. A Baccalaureate degree 1 year of professional level experience in a field to which the law to be adjudicated applies. Possession of a license to practice law in the state of Louisiana will substitute for all of the required experience is needed. Deadline: 17 April, 2018.
