A law firm in Washington, DC is seeking an Insurance and Reinsurance Career Attorney with a strong grasp of insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies. The successful candidate will possess excellent academic credentials and demonstrate exceptional research and writing skills, along with 2-5 years of relevant experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.

Duties:

• Provide expert legal counsel on insurance coverage matters, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis related to insurance and reinsurance issues.
• Draft, review, and negotiate insurance policies, coverage agreements, and related legal documents.
• Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies to resolve complex insurance and reinsurance issues.
• Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and relevant case law impacting insurance and reinsurance.
• Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external parties to manage insurance claims and resolve coverage disputes.
• Prepare and present legal arguments, motions, and briefs before courts and arbitration panels.
• Manage multiple insurance coverage matters concurrently, ensuring efficient and effective case resolution.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar in Washington, DC.
• 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
• Strong understanding of insurance coverage issues related to professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance.
• Proven ability to conduct in-depth legal research and produce high-quality written work.
• Experience in handling insurance coverage disputes and litigation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in Washington, DC.
