Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Represent lenders, tax equity investors, and other stakeholders in renewable energy project finance transactions.
  • Advise on structuring and negotiating complex financing arrangements for renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and other sustainable energy sources.
  • Prepare and review transaction documents, including loan agreements, security agreements, and related contracts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external parties, including clients, counsel, and third-party experts.
  • Stay updated on relevant legal and regulatory developments affecting project finance in the renewable energy sector.
  • Provide legal guidance and support to senior attorneys and clients on strategic transactions and project developments.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in transactional law with a focus on project finance, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
  • Proven experience working with lenders, tax equity investors, and other key stakeholders in project finance transactions.
  • Strong academic background and excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • High level of attention to detail, with an ability to handle complex transactions and negotiations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be admitted to the Bar in Georgia.
