Client Relations Senior Coordinator, Litigation The candidate will assist with the planning and execution of the Litigation Department's strategic business development goals and initiatives, including related practice and industry-related initiatives. Will report to the Client Relations Manager, Litigation. Work with the Client Relations team, litigation practice groups, and lawyers to identify client targets and develop and implement plans to acquire new business. Draft, edit and finalize business development materials, including proposals and RFPs, presentations, electronic updates and newsletters; also track outcomes and update records of same. Draft and edit survey responses and compile client references for these surveys. Collect, enter and maintain litigation-related marketing content in the firm's database, including practice descriptions, proposal materials, Web content and related experience lists. Manage events related to the Litigation department and its practices, including industry conference sponsorships, client presentations, seminars and webinars, and practice/departmental meetings and retreats. Coordinate and manage research projects (e.g., company information, executive profiles, litigation profiles, competitor information, industry information, etc.). Manage litigation-related inquiries that come in through the firm website. Finalize and process check requests, invoices, and other arrangements required for support of litigation business development activities, as needed. Track litigation department expenses for annual budget reporting. Work with the Communications team to promote events, thought leadership, and matter wins related to the litigation department and its practices. Assist with Client Relations and firm management status reports. Handle other projects as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree. Must have 5+ years of professional services marketing or paralegal experience, preferably with an AmLaw Top 200 law firm. Litigation, environmental, and/or energy industry experience a plus. Should be comfortable learning Web-based software and tools. Knowledge of Web-based legal and business resources, such as Monitor Suite, Courtlink, Hoover's, PACER, WestLaw and others, are a plus. Should have strong skills in MS Office software, including PowerPoint and Excel. Must have experience with CRM software. Experience with InterAction a plus. Should be flexible and willing to work additional hours as necessary in order to meet deadlines.
