ProfileCorporate Governance Analyst Duties: Responsible for exhibiting Utilities Corporationâ€™s Mission, Vision and Values, regarding external customers, agencies, vendors, internal departments and co-workers. Provides support to the Director of Corporate Governance on matters relating to compliance, corporate governance, cybersecurity, and other corporate activities. Corporate Secretary magazine has named this team the 2017 Governance Team of the Year (small to mid-cap sized companies). Assist with entity management for the Company and its subsidiaries. Assist in the preparation and organization of corporate documents and agreements. Support the Departmentâ€™s activities in companywide growth initiatives. Assist in the preparation of the Companyâ€™s Proxy Statement and related matters. Assist with regulatory compliance filings. Assist in research and preparation for meetings of the Board of Directors and its Committees. Support systems, research, and development of corporate governance practices. Assist in organizing and preparing materials for security meetings and initiatives. Support vendor relationships and other initiatives related to cyber security. Support other corporate and governance activities handled by the Corporate Governance Team.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited school. Public company experience preferred. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong organization, project management, and time management skills. Ability to perform well in a team environment. Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities. Strong focus on customer service. Detail oriented. Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
