Strategic Partner Development Manager, Local Shopping and Local Inventory Ads The candidate will involve in the scaling and incubation of Firm Shopping local product offerings. Will focus on scaling Local Inventory Ads through third-parties such as Point-of-Sale or Inventory Management technology partners. Creating, pitching and incubating new local shopping products. Extensive work with internal Firm teams spanning functions (e.g., Operations, PM, Engineering and Firm Technical Services. Influence stakeholders internally and externally by developing a strong point of view on go-to-market strategies. Lead exploratory discussions with prospective partners such as top point of sale companies or technology companies in the local commerce space. Manage complex agreements and forge new partnerships. Source, lead, pitch, and manage partners, with a focus on emerging products across Firm Shopping that include Local Inventory Ads. Develop deep understanding of Firm products, strategy and values and their application to brands, retailers and logistics service providers. Collaborate and lead cross-functional teams to develop strategy and business plans for emerging shopping products and features. Structure strategic plans using a Firm approach with key partners, and lead the identification and execution of complex agreements. Present recommendations and key issues to the Firm management team.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have 6+ years of relevant experience, including technology and retail industry experience. MBA and/or JD degree is preferred. Experience identifying and working with strategic partners, structuring and quantifying, non-standard agreement structures; experience with agreements is essential. Experience in operating within and leading cross-functional teams (e.g., product management, legal, finance, marketing) is essential. Experience working with international partners in EMEA, LATAM or APAC is preferred. Familiarity with Firm Shopping’s Local Inventory Ads and Local Shopping in general, and a knowledge of the Point of Sale or Inventory Management industry is a bonus.
