Employment Litigation Associate Candidate will assume a major role in litigation and labor matters with extensive contact with client representatives and opposing counsel. Will also provide multiple writing, publishing and speaking services.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: JD Degree. Outstanding academic credentials preferred (top 20% of law school class). Must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of employment. During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice. Must be licensed to practice in Arizona. 2+ years of strong litigation experience is required, with exposure to employment and/or traditional labor law preferred. Excellent research, analytical and writing skills are required. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

I would like to see better management put into place so that the work load is better balanced throughout the weeks and the months. This way there is always work to be done without being overwhelmed.

Pros : The starting pay is excellent and the benefits (such as 401K) are top notch. I also found everyone to be very helpful and the work environment was very laid back.
Cons : The overall work load on a day to day basis had too much variance. On some days I would have to work well past my normal hours into the night. During other day's I was left with nothing to do.
