ProfileSan Francisco office of our client seeks ERISA compliance attorney with 8+ years of experience. The candidate will be providing advice to multi-employer plans related to ERISA compliance, DOL/IRS audits, general plan administration, QDROs, QMSCO, COBRA, HIPAA, USERRA, FMLA and Claims and Appeals process. Will be reviewing vendors contracts. Advising Plan Sponsors on fiduciary duty and liability issues. Assisting with collections and related litigation; representing health plans in subrogation matters and benefit litigation. Advising apprenticeship programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws. Must be admitted in California and federal jurisdictions, and must be an active member in good standing with the California State Bar. Should have knowledge of QDROs, ACA, HIPAA, HITECH, FMLA, CFRA, MPRA, PTE, ERISA claims and appeals procedures, and other laws and regulations issued by DOL and IRS. Experience reviewing investment agreements/contracts, plan mergers, treasury submissions, preparing plan documents and participant notices, as well as DOL, IRS and HHS plan audits is essential.
