Employment Legal Counsel The candidate will be responsible for: Providing advice and counsel for a wide range of cutting edge employment related matters including federal, state and local employment laws, terminations, visas, leaves, benefits, and all other employment related matters; Conducting internal investigations and drafting corresponding reports; Drafting, developing and implementing organization policies and procedures; Preparing and presenting organization-wide trainings; Managing outside counsel and collaborating with other attorneys on employment-related litigation; Monitoring, analyzing and implementing changes in employment law; and Supporting the larger legal team as needed in all matters of compliance, litigation, research, and reporting across the network departments and 46 schools. Should have 4-6 years of experience, a J.D. degree. Should have a strong academic record.
