Profile

Paralegal The candidate prepares and drafts pleadings, motions, judgments, and other documents in support of Divorce, Custody, Modification and Contempt actions. Conducts client interviews and gathers applicable information. Serves as a liaison between the client and attorneys. Prepares and reviews discovery packages, including disclosure statements, answers to interrogatories, and production requests. Prepares trial notebooks and provides assistance in trial settings. Assures that clients' files are organized and ready in advance of court, mediation, or attorney meetings. Completes required forms such as DRFAs, Child Support Worksheets, Parenting Plans, etc. Performs preliminary legal research and other research in support of client's case. Coordinates and schedules hearings, mediations, and depositions. Should have 3 years of experience and advanced knowledge in the area of family law. Must have proficiency in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel and Access).
