Trial Paralegal / Legal Secretary The candidate will organize records, documents, correspondence, and files into a manageable format. Will handle heavy scheduling and calendaring for attorney meetings, court deadlines, depositions, etc. Manage a large amount of client contact and interaction. Electronic filing. Create first drafts of pleadings, discovery, discovery responses, correspondence, etc. Maintain the organization of all legal files. Assist in court during trial with exhibits, witnesses, trial presentation, etc. Must have excellent writing, grammar and editing skills. Advanced proficiency in MS Word and medical records request, review and summary is required. Must have 2+ years of current litigation experience in a legal environment. Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies or Paralegal Certification is required. Should have familiarity with Table of Contents and Table of Authorities. Trial experience is strongly preferred. Document production and organization skills are a must.
