A well-established plaintiff-side employment law firm in Glendale, CA, is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join its expanding litigation team. The firm specializes in prosecuting wage-and-hour class actions, unfair business practices, discrimination, and false advertising claims against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies. This role offers significant litigation experience and exposure to both state and federal courts.

Location:

Duties:

  • Assist in prosecuting wage-and-hour, consumer, and employment class actions.
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and briefs.
  • Participate in discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
  • Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and other court proceedings.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys to develop case strategies.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in California or pending admission to the California Bar.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for case-related matters.
  • Strong commitment to advocating for employees and consumers.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active or pending membership in the California State Bar.

Skills:

  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with civil litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and oral advocacy (preferred).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
