Analyst Contracts And Compliance
The candidate responsibilities will include: Responsible for the preparation and submission of operational applications for initial and renewal retail convenience store licensing and permitting requirements. Coordinate with external stakeholders including government agencies at all levels, outside legal counsel, escrow agencies, and outside licensing/permitting, or other consultants on behalf of the company or business operations teams. Preparation of various forms of contractual documents including Agreements, Amendments, Termination Notices, and/or other ancillary documents in support of operational or strategic initiatives. Accurately complete the required applications/documents necessary to acquire new or renew existing operational licenses and permits and upon receipt, distribute and/or ensure retail locations are in possession of follow compliance requirements in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. Pursuant to company policies, process payments for both flat fee and gross receipt Licenses and Permits. When necessary, initiate research and interpret federal, state and local licensing regulations relating to alcohol, tobacco, food, motor fuel, etc. Communicate and distribute information to Operations teams, stores. Engage supervisor and other stakeholders appropriately and as necessary. Prepare or develop contract related documents as directed; adhere to company policies and guidelines for the management and retention of the contract lifecycle. Appropriately manage confidential and sensitive information in accordance with company guidelines. Escalate questions and seek guidance prior to distribution of any information with potential legal or negative business impact. Assist and/or participate in project related compliance activities when directed or as necessary; i.e., new site acquisitions and/or strategic business opportunities. Participate or represent department in meetings, discussions or presentations as necessary. Provide analysis, research, and reporting support to internal stakeholders. Identify process improvement opportunities, initiate synergies and develop efficiencies as necessary. Develop and engage in opportunities to mentor, train, guide and lead peers and team members. Must have Bachelor's Degree. Should preferably have 3+ years of relevant contract management, paralegal, or compliance experience.
