The candidate will be supporting the business in drafting and negotiating advertising technology ecosystem and strategic commercial contracts (e.g., contracts with exchanges, supply-side platforms (SSPs), data onboarding vendors, integrations into other digital media channels, etc.). Will be negotiating requested changes to Firms standard programmatic advertising campaign legal terms with clients. Drafting and negotiating contracts related to the Firm's social influencer business. Maintaining and updating company privacy notices and internal policies and procedures in light of internal and external changes. Working closely with cross-functional teams to review consumer privacy and other legal issues involved with new features and products. Staying abreast of changes in domestic and international consumer privacy laws. Staying abreast of the advertising technology industry changes relevant to Firm's businesses.
Qualification and ExperienceThe candidate should have Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school with superior academic credentials. CIPP-US Certified. Must be Licensed to practice law and in good standing in at least one state. Should have 5+ years of legal work experience and/or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position. Should preferably have in-house experience involving consumer privacy and advertising technology. Robust familiarity with self-regulatory privacy programs (e.g., NAI, DAA, IAB, etc.) is a plus. Familiarity with international privacy regulations and regimes is desired. Familiarity with OneTrust is a plus.
