Consulting eDiscovery Architect The candidate will: Work alongside Lighthouse executive management to develop best sales and product strategies; Help position Lighthouse as an industry thought leader; Implement client consulting engagements and other projects when required, including assessing client’s current discovery practices, identifying gaps (impacting time, cost and risk) in those practices, analyzing alternatives, and developing and implementing tangible and actionable strategies and business processes to address those gaps. Establish new business process approaches for managing the discovery lifecycle based on industry standards such as the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), Six Sigma, and American Records Management Association (ARMA). Maintaining relationships with existing clients or referral sources which can either lead to expanded roles on existing or new engagements. Delivers marketing/sales presentations to prospective referral sources and clients. Attends conferences and meeting to prospect for new referral sources and clients. Provides input to Operations and Sales on case law and processing trends to ensure proper resource allocation for staffing, software development and service offerings. Strategic project management duties when requested including: Determination of project scope and approach; Development of a work program where appropriate, and implementation of such in conjunction with the project management team as well as the sales team, and the allocation of tasks to each participant in the project; Control of total consultant time and out-of-pocket expenses on the assignment either against a predetermined budget or based upon prior experience on similar assignments; Billable hour utilization; Drafting of engagement reports, affidavits, or expert reports, or the review of such reports generated by Project Managers or other Consultants; Serving as the escalation contact with the client when necessary or on a day to day basis for consulting engagements.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Business, technical, and/or legal degrees/certifications highly desired, e.g., MBA, JD, CPA, PMI, ARMA, ACEDS, etc. Should have 7+ years’ experience in Legal Services, Legal Sales, Operations, or Consulting Firms. Expert knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas: electronic discovery, litigation support, business process consulting, records management, content management, email archiving, IT system management, or business process integration. Preferred experience would be working with clients in the mid to large size sector. The candidate will have managed mid-level projects and played a senior role on larger projects. Display proficiency with Office 365, Nuix, archiving platforms, migration tools, or related technologies. Significant business development and marketing experience to attorneys and corporate buyers. Strong knowledge of complex project management. Excellent computer and analytical skills. Outstanding oral and written skills. Ability to travel.
