Senior Counsel - Labor Relations The candidate responsibilities will include managing the company's relationships with the entertainment industry unions, including WGA, DGA, SAG/AFTRA, IATSE, Teamsters, etc., as well as the corresponding unions for foreign productions. Will participate in negotiating, interpreting and analyzing the guild and union agreements, handling disputes that arise under them, as well as in formulating the company's labor relations policies. Work on all phases of made-for-pay television live action and animated programs, including development, pre-production, production, post-production, promotion and distribution. Interface with in-house production, post-production, legal, business affairs, finance and marketing executives, as well as with outside producers. Must have a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school, and member in good standing with the State Bar of California. Should have 5-8 years of entertainment labor experience with a major law firm or entertainment company.
