A law firm in Milwaukee is seeking a skilled Mid-level Transactional Business Law Associate Attorney with experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), due diligence, and contract drafting. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both legal and non-legal teams.

Duties:

• Draft and negotiate transactional documents related to mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.
• Conduct due diligence reviews and analysis in preparation for mergers and acquisitions.
• Advise clients on corporate governance matters and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in the structuring and financing of business transactions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex transactional matters.
• Provide legal research and analysis on various business and corporate law issues.
• Manage and coordinate transactional closings and post-closing activities.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in at least one state and in good standing.
• 3+ years of experience in transactional business law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Experience with due diligence processes and review.
• Knowledge of corporate governance principles and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Education and Certifications:

• Undergraduate degree and JD from accredited institutions.
