Paralegal The candidate will manage responsibilities include assisting lead attorney in all aspects of litigation in state and federal court, policy review and analysis, and legislative/regulatory drafting and lobbying. Will manage the practiceâ€™s calendar, track FOIA and Public Records Act requests and responses, build and index large administrative records for CEQA cases, coordinate client contacts in lobbying matters, and manage routine correspondence. A science or policy background (particularly environmental) is a plus. Experience of 2-3 years as a litigation paralegal or legal assistant in a litigation practice required. Must be excellent in the use of Word (including formatting and building tables of authority and contents), Adobe Acrobat (including bates numbering, bookmarking, and linking files), and Excel, and be willing to keep meticulous track of time for billing purposes. Experience with Quickbooks and e-discovery software is preferred.
