ProfileContract Engagement Advisor The candidate will serve as a business advisor to federal business providing advice and counsel selling products and services to clients. Responsibilities include: Contractual advisor during the contract lifecycle, to include: pre-award (NDAs and teaming agreements, RFP reviews, development of proposal responses and negotiation strategies), and post award contract administration. Lead the development and negotiation of terms & conditions. Create well-structured deals that meet company’s financial/client goals. Serve as focal point interacting with client contracting officials throughout the contract lifecycle. Advising clients on the optimal way to structure transactions within company's delivery frame work and identify key deal points which affect revenue recognition; key elements require modifying customer documents & standard agreements, drafting agreements and engaging in direct negotiations with customers.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor's Degree. Master's Degree is preferred. J.D. degree will be considered. Should have 7 years experience, including working in the Federal sector in pre-award and post award contract phases. Negotiation experience in the federal/public service sector environment is needed. Should have understanding and knowledge of federal procurement process and practices. Experience with both Cost Reimbursable and Firm Fixed Price Contracts is desired. Must have understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other agency regulations such as DFAR, etc. to include Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and working with various contract types. Must have working knowledge of commercial contracting principles and terms & conditions. Knowledge of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) is preferred.
