Mid-level Corporate Paralegal The candidate will support the Mergers & Acquisition Group. Will create closing binders; do precedent searches; create signature pages; form merger subsidiaries; organize / maintain data rooms on sell-side deals; create and maintain working group lists; search public information on potential counter-parties, and other assignments as needed. A Bachelor's degree and a Paralegal Certificate are required with 3+ years of experience in a large law firm corporate group. Overtime may be required. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are needed. Must be organized, detail oriented and have solid PC proficiency including familiarity with MS Excel and Word.

I would like to see more promotions given to those that have worked hard and have put in the time and effort to get where they are.

Pros : ALL of the staff members here are very friendly and easy to socialize with. I also felt as though the starting pay was exceptional.
Cons : There is a real lack of sense of progress in terms of growth at this firm. It is hard to tell where you stand and I did not see many promotions take place during my stay here.
