NON-TYPICAL SENIOR CORPORATE AND TRANSACTIONAL ATTORNEY WANTED FOR ENTREPRENEURIAL LAW FIRM
Are you one of the rare attorneys who is or wants to be an entrepreneur, is willing to take a risk, wants to learn and grow, has patience and who is interested in helping grow a firm -- leading to partnership and, eventually, maybe even you taking over the firm?
Do you have a small book of business, want to keep the far majority of that revenue, have all of the administrative, billing and accounting work handled for you and have the opportunity to make additional money based upon your billable time for firm clients? And/or are you able and willing to work without a guaranteed salary with the understanding that there will be no cap on your earning ability as we grow over time?
Do you have the experience and confidence to be the primary attorney managing and overseeing deals and important client relationships?
Are you an optimistic self-starter with positive outlook who loves what you do and works well with others?
Are you looking for mentorship on how to grow and run a more successful practice?

We are a small firm based in NY (with a principal attorney who spends half of his time in L.A.) that handles sophisticated clients and transactions. We focus on working with entrepreneurial and larger companies across industries on their corporate, contractual and deal work and related needs and also are one of the leading firms in the registered investment advisor (RIA) and break-away broker space.
J.D. from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law, and located, preferably in California or New York but open to attorneys from all geographies as we operate well virtually.
Min. 6 (more likely 8-15+) years of law firm and/or in-house legal department transactional experience
RIA industry experience a plus but not required
Great client relationship skills
Experience managing other attorneys and staff
