Assistant United States Attorney The candidate will prioritize the prosecution of violent crimes, firearms crimes, and drug crimes including assignments within the purview of the District's Project Safe Neighborhoods and Opioids Management Coordination programs and related appellate practice assignments. Will work with law enforcement agencies in criminal investigations of and represent the US with respect to criminal prosecutions of those who commit such offenses. Must have a J.D. degree, be an active member of the Bar (any jurisdiction), and have 3+ years of post-J.D. legal or other relevant experience. Occasional travel is required.
