Legal Assistant The candidate will work closely with attorneys in managing personal injury cases for clients. Will obtain, review, and organize medical records. Prepare, calculate, and maintain damage summaries including medical expenses, lost wages, and property damage. Log daily mail. Prepare and forward medical records to insurance carriers and defense counsel. Communicate and correspond with clients regarding case status. Prepare check requests, maintain check records, and mail checks to vendors. Prepare disbursement summaries.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and/or relevant work experience. Should be articulate, organized team player with excellent grammar and writing skills. Solid organizational and interpersonal communication skills are needed. Must be highly proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word. Working knowledge of Needles Case Management software is a plus.
