Duties:
- Handle court hearings independently, including evidentiary hearings and trials.
- Assign work to paralegals and legal assistants, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining full responsibility for case outcomes.
- Develop legal strategies based on clients’ goals, case facts, and applicable laws.
- Meet with clients to discuss legal strategies, evaluate options, and determine the best course of action.
- Record time and value delivered to clients, reviewing what worked and areas for improvement.
- Draft letters and legal documents, such as contracts, pleadings, motions, affidavits, depositions, settlement agreements, and briefs.
- Achieve or exceed key performance metrics for the position.
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to privacy requirements.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of family law and legal procedures to develop case strategy.
- Ability to confidently represent clients in court and handle hearings/trials independently.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to integrity and work ethic.
