Fall Internship The intern responsibilities include administrative services, constituent correspondence and outreach, and legislative research. As a result, interns learn about the legislative process and the many other functions of a congressional office. College students are considered. Internship hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm when Congress is in session, and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm when not in session, but hours are flexible to accommodate class schedules.
