The ideal candidate is expected to bring a portable book of business exceeding $300,000, with rates surpassing $500 per hour. This role presents a unique opportunity for an experienced attorney to contribute to significant cases within the property and casualty legal landscape.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in property and casualty matters, including insurance claims, coverage disputes, and litigation.
• Analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, such as contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and court proceedings related to property and casualty cases.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting property and casualty matters.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney, specializing in property and casualty law.
• Proven track record of cultivating and maintaining a portable book of business exceeding $300,000.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
