Principle Strategic Sourcing Specialist The candidate will provide global sourcing leadership across all Services categories. Lead cross-functional global commodity teams that will leverage purchasing power, improve processes and systems to reduce overall cost of acquisition of Services commodities. Collaborate with global business units and geographies to manage strategic sourcing initiatives and commodity strategies to create an optimal number of â€œbest in classâ€ suppliers, provide competitive pricing, and implement world class sourcing strategies. Negotiate, establish, and measure global multi-million dollar contracts, and national or regional contracts as required. Influence and drive change within and across businesses. Must be results driven about customer and business cost reduction, growth initiatives, aggregating supplier volume, reducing price, and utilizing tools and identifying opportunities for e-processes increasing capacity and driving compliance to contracts. Communicate issues, actions, and strategies to Sourcing and Sr. Leadership teams. Develop global and/or international methodologies for Service category strategies and lead the process to generate category strategies to manage all aspects of the categories to achieve world-class performance levels. Work with (internal) stakeholders and drive market research for the various strategies. Work with global commodity teams and recommend strategies to globally manage all aspects of the assigned commodity area to achieve world-class performance levels. Represents organization as prime contact in source selection, contract negotiations and administration of complex multi-million dollar contracts including internal spend analysis, preparation of bid packages, proposal analysis and evaluation, contract provision negotiation, supplier selection/recommendation, contract award and administration. Support global customer base by communicating effectively across business unit sourcing organizations, business unit functions, financial and legal groups to complete work assignments and to build partnerships in support of strategies for the assigned commodity area. Develop robust contracts that include requirements, deliverables, SLAâ€™s, and incremental value to the organization. Communicate effectively with other business unit and regional procurement organizations, information technology, facilities, finance, and legal to complete work assignments. Define methodologies and templates for others to be used. Drive standardization in purchasing methodology. Communicate with all levels of management throughout the enterprise. Obtain global market condition information regarding categories and suppliers, leading to category strategies. Present, align, and implement business strategy changes. Benchmark with other companies to determine best overall practices for assigned commodity area. Forecast sub-commodity activity levels and trends, determine the optimal leverage points and prioritize contract opportunities. Implementation and provide oversight of Quality and Sourcing initiatives. Including advising and coaching team members and business unit colleagues on center-led strategic objectives and how to do effective risk assessment in the category. Assume global leadership role in source selection, contract negotiations and administration of complex multi-million dollar contracts including internal spend analysis, preparation of bid packages, proposal analysis and evaluation, contract provision negotiation, supplier selection/recommendation, contract award and administration. Report performance to key metrics and project status as required. Support global customer base by communicating effectively across business unit and geographic procurement organizations, business unit functions, financial and legal groups to complete work assignments and to build partnerships in support of strategies for the assigned commodity area. Provide leadership and subject matter expertise on â€œBest in Classâ€ Sourcing processes. Should have Bachelorâ€™s degree. Must have 7+ years of purchasing with a B.A. or 5+ years with a Masters. Should have experience with Services commodities. Should preferably have Masters Degree. Degree in Paralegal or Legal studies is a plus. C.P.M. or CPSM Certification is a desired. Should preferably have previous experience and/or expertise with multiple indirect commodities.
