Job Overview:

• A law firm seeks a skilled Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions Private Equity Associate Attorney to join its team in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions within an Am Law firm setting.

Duties:

• Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, and ancillary agreements.
• Conduct due diligence investigations and analyze findings.
• Assist in structuring transactions to achieve clients' business objectives.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactional experience in an Am Law firm.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Prior experience with Am Law 100 law firms preferred.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar.
