Associate General Counsel
The candidate will primarily partner with key stakeholders within firm's to negotiate and draft a variety of business agreements, including licensing, co-development, distribution, and supply agreements. Will also support various functions within firm's, including Human Resources, Finance and firm's intellectual property portfolio. Need to operate in the face of ambiguity, provide practical and actionable legal advice and be a team player who is willing to jump into new projects as business needs arise. Able to provide timely practical advice to employees of all levels, including senior executives, within the company with minimal supervision, and take a leadership role on specific projects within the Legal Group. Responsible for providing day-to-day legal advice in a pragmatic and collaborative manner to assist the business in achieving its goals/objectives in a legally compliant and ethical manner. Timely respond to day-to-day policy and legal questions raised by the business. Draft, review and negotiate a variety of agreements. Manage outside counsel on various matters. Should have Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Must be a member of the Bar in good standing. Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar strongly preferred. Must have 5+ years of relevant transactional experience at a major law firm and/or in-house. International business exposure is highly preferred.
