Duties

• Support senior attorneys in litigation and business law matters related to construction.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents and contracts.
• Conduct legal research on complex construction and business law topics.
• Assist in managing and preparing for court appearances, hearings, and trials.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and offer tailored legal advice.
• Maintain organized case files and manage workflow for multiple cases.
• Work closely with legal and administrative staff for seamless case management.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on construction or business law.
• Strong understanding or background in construction, architecture, engineering, or insurance.
• Experience as a law clerk is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Minnesota.
• A license to practice in Iowa is preferred.
