Job Overview: A law firm in New York City is seeking a dedicated Labor and Employment Associate Attorney with a strong background in employment litigation and counseling. Job Duties:

• Conduct legal research on labor and employment issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, trials, and arbitrations.
• Provide advice and counsel to clients on employment law matters.
• Assist in investigations related to labor disputes and employment claims.
• Review and revise employment policies and handbooks.
• Stay updated on developments in labor and employment laws.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in employment litigation.
• Significant experience with employment counseling.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Ideally, experience in traditional labor law matters.
• Must be licensed to practice law in New York.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar (active and in good standing).
• Any certifications or additional qualifications in employment law are advantageous.
