Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking a Trusts & Estates Associate with 3 to 8 years of experience in estate planning and estate administration. Some litigation experience is preferred. Location: Philadelphia, PA 

Duties:

  • Advise clients on estate planning strategies and the preparation of wills, trusts, and other estate documents.
  • Assist with estate administration, including the management of probate proceedings, asset distribution, and tax filings.
  • Handle estate and trust litigation matters, including contested probate cases.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys on complex trusts and estates matters.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring high-quality service and advice.
  • Manage and organize case files, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and firm protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments for comprehensive client support.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 8 years of experience in estate planning and administration.
  • Some experience in estate and trust litigation is preferred.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and client-focused approach.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Outstanding academic and professional credentials.
  • Admission to practice law in New York and/or Pennsylvania.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • LLM in Taxation is strongly preferred.
  • Admission to the New York and/or Pennsylvania State Bar.

Skills:
