Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be managing cases with responsibilities ranging from drafting correspondence and pleadings; interacting with clients, attorneys, experts and court personnel; obtaining and managing case discovery, to include a working knowledge of the subpoena process; performing background investigations; reviewing case documents and preparing summary of key facts to include preparation of medical and billing summaries; reviewing and managing large discovery productions; preparing key document summaries; assisting attorneys with trial, mediation, and arbitration preparation; and other various tasks as assigned by the attorneys. Must have 3+ years of paralegal experience in insurance defense. Experience with construction defect and/or Washington law is preferred. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be well organized, and have the ability to learn quickly and prioritize tasks within a busy law firm setting. Must be capable of working independently while using effective problem solving skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro is necessary, and experience with discovery database programs is preferred.
