Manager, HIPAA and Healthcare
Duties: The candidate is responsible for managing clients and projects, assisting in compiling and analyzing HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) documents and Protected Health Information/electronic Protected Health Information (PHI/ePHI), participating in site visits and information gathering interviews, performing reviews of PHI/ePHI technical environments, and performing testing to support various healthcare, compliance, and investigative projects.

Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree, required. Degree with a focus in Healthcare Regulatory Compliance, Healthcare Information Management, Computer Science, Information Assurance, or Information Governance, preferred. Master’s Degree or Juris Doctorate, preferred. 6 years of experience in management consulting, technology advisory, or technology project management, with a focus on managing large complex engagements and clients, required. 3 years of experience with HIPAA assessments, HIPAA implementation, Health Information Trust Alliance (HITRUST), Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) audits, HIPAA compliance audits, ISO 27701, NIST Privacy Framework, or a combination of the aforementioned, required. 3 years of experience with the US healthcare system and related industries (medical device, life sciences, pharmaceutical), required. Process design experience or Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience, preferred. Healthcare Information Management or Information Technology certifications, required. Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), preferred. Privacy or healthcare compliance certifications (CHC, HCCP), preferred. PMP or equivalent experience, preferred.
