You’ll help provide legal support for all our products and businesses across the globe. Together with your team, you’ll provide the critical support needed worldwide for all Apple products and businesses. We are looking for a patent litigator with great judgment and communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to manage the day to day progress of patent cases. You will be a self-starter who can quickly learn Apple's patent litigation docket and practices, identify and manage risks and exposures, and find strategic opportunities for resolution. As a member of Apple's patent case management team, you will not be merely monitoring outside counsel. Rather, you will be directly engaged in formulating and driving strategy as well as providing counsel to internal clients on patent litigation matters and issues. The position requires a high degree of self-sufficiency, independent judgment and a trial-focused approach. You will operate as part of a supportive and fun team of lawyers, legal specialists and support staff who work closely together to protect Apple's interests.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $154,500 and $232,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Qualification and Experience 5-15 years of major law firm and/or in-house patent litigation experience Strong technology interest and aptitude Preference given to candidates who have significant trial experience Excellent communication, analytical, organization, and negotiation skills are essential Federal Circuit clerkship experience is a plus JD degree or equivalent
